Children’s Outreach Program

A wonderful example of our Children’s Outreach Program is the ministry of Deanna in Barzoaiele (just outside Bucharest). Most months, she holds what Christians in the US would call a Vacation Bible School for the children. In the summer, she does a summer camp and special outings for the kids. Deanna arranges special gifts for the children at the beginning of the school year to help with supplies, and also gifts at Christmas. She also reaches out with help to young mothers in this village who need emergency relief.

Another important part of our Children’s Outreach Program is the work of Chris Giulica. He also sets up camps for kids, but his primary focus is sharing the gospel of Jesus with the Romi (gypsy) children. This is a special group, with a great need for the love and hope of God, but also unique challenges in reaching them.

The children are the ones most severely affected by extreme poverty and often unhealthy living conditions. And these circumstances don’t just affect them physically, but also emotionally and spiritually. Thankfully, these children are also often the ones most open to the love and grace of Christ. And we want to make sure each child has the opportunity to come to know God’s incredible love for them.
